Growing up in a historic city such as Houston, which childhood memories stick out to you the most?
As a native Houstonian, I distinctly remember growing up, always wanting to go to Six Flags Astroworld. I can still hear the sounds of roller coasters flying over me, the smell of funnel cakes, and I can still feel the nerves it took to talk to that cute girl while entering the park. Astroworld defined most of my teenage years. I was highly upset when they tore it down. To make matters worse, they haven’t built anything on the land since then.

Entrepreneurship is a pathway filled with risk and reward that few are willing to take. Explain your first experience with business and entrepreneurship.
I’ve always had jobs, but I’ve always found ways to make money through business. Fashion is something that I’ve been passionate about throughout my entire life. I started making purses at 11 years old. As I got older, my friends would hire me to get them dressed and ready for events because I knew how to mix and match certain pieces together. …

Growing up, did you learn any lessons regarding generational wealth in your household?
We learned lessons about money, but never lessons about generational wealth. When you don’t have generational wealth, you don’t have lessons regarding generational wealth to pass along.
My grandmother did teach me key lessons about the value of a dollar that served as building blocks for further knowledge. She taught me how she’d been taught, which made sense to me, even at a young age. She told me things such as:
“Don’t let money burn a hole in your pocket,” to discourage me from spending every dime…

How did you get started in the space of brain training and healing?
In 2001–2006 I was living in South Florida. At the time, I started to experience anxiety, which I wasn’t aware of. I’d heard about anxiety and stress before, but I didn’t know how that impacted me as a person. I was studying Anthony Robbins (known as Tony Robbins), and he was immersed in the mind-body connection and being able to change your mental state by changing your physiology. …

Have you always been creative in the form of media and technology?
Everything for me started at the art table in school. My mom used to get mad at me because every time she checked my mailbox in school, it would be full of paintings. As a kid, and even now, I’m introverted, but I’m encouraged by others around me to socialize. Being creative at such a young age was a way for me to be productive and different, and I’ve been doing it non-stop since then.
You became an entrepreneur before…
